The talk will cover new research commissioned by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer for England to develop a risk assessment tool for COVID-19. CORONAVIRUS VACCINES: THE WAY OUT OF THE PANDEMIC
Andrew J Pollard, Professor of Paediatric Infection and Immunity, Vice Master of St Cross College
Over 130 vaccines are in development around the world. Since January 2020, researchers at Oxford University have been working on a vaccine against the pandemic virus and are now in phase III trials around the world to test whether the new vaccine can prevent infection and thus could help to end the pandemic.
